I agree to pay Sauber Legal Services LLC (“the firm”), the assigned attorney, and any other members of the firm, for an initial meeting to discuss my legal matter.
The scope of work covered by the fixed fee is limited to:
This fee does not include any work performed other than that detailed above. Any work done outside the Limited Scope will be handled on an hourly basis, at the applicable hourly rates, or will be contemplated by a separate written retainer agreement.
I agree to pay for legal services based upon a stated fixed price of $500.00 for the Limited Scope described above. Such payment is an advance fee payment which is the property of Sauber Legal Services LLC, potentially subject to a refund of a portion, if the agreed upon legal services are not provided. I understand that I may discharge the firm at any time. Payment will not be held in the law firm’s trust account. Any refund of fees will be given to the payor (the person that originally paid the fee).
If I cancel without rescheduling within 24 hours of the meeting, I agree that the firm will have earned 1/4 of the fee for administrative costs, which includes the cost of credit card charges, meeting preparation time, and for reserving the time on the firm’s calendar.
If I cancel without rescheduling the meeting at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting time, the fee will be refunded to me, but the firm will deduct an administrative fee of $50 to cover the cost of credit card charges and for reserving the time on the firm’s calendar.
I consent to this charge by booking.
I understand that the firm uses firm-approved artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with legal research, document drafting, intake, and administrative tasks. The firm only uses platforms that operate under a no-training-by-default policy, meaning my information is not used to train AI models, and the firm does not enter identifying client information into any AI tool that lacks adequate confidentiality and security protections. The use of AI tools is a firm-wide practice and is not subject to modification on a per-client basis. I understand that if I do not wish to be represented by a firm that uses AI, I should not engage the firm’s services.
